Resturant review : Yoroniku Aoyamaten

Last December I went to Yoroniku Aoyamaten which is one of the most famous yakiniku resturants in Japan. It is a well-known story among meat lovers that the now-standard way of eating yakiniku, a bite of rice rolled with meat and egg yolk, originated at Yoroniku Aoyama. While there is no end to the number of restaurants that have followed suit, Yoroniku's standard item for the past few years has been a truffle-based dish that goes above and beyond. In particular, the sukiyaki with bukkake truffle is a dish that attracts gourmets from all over the world to Japan. The new trend proposed by Yoroniku, such as shaved ice for dessert, will never stop.

Yoroniku will continue to open up a new world of Wagyu beef with new approaches.

Therefore the price line is a little expensive but the price is worth the food you can eat. There are 3 main courses which is 12,300yen, 14,400yen, and 21,500yen.

The most expensive 21,500yen course is the best were they have Katsusando and Caviar sushi which is both one main cusine you can get at Yoroniku.

I would rate the resurant as 10/10 with being the exellent food and service. The food was especially a 10 out of 10 but the service were the customers does not have to do anything but the servers will do everything for you.

Poetry Presentation on Names for Hunger

Hello everyone today I will be intorducing about my food poem we did in our class. I chose the poem Names of Hunger written by Mrgigaa Sethi. This poem captured the narrator's inner dialogue as they walk from a therapist's office back to work. The narrator comforts themselves with endearing terms and reassurances, acknowledging the impending challenges at work.

The poem takes a reflective turn as the narrator recalls their mother's love, expressed through various endearing names. The realization that love is complex and sometimes painful strikes the narrator like lightning. The mention of a meal, aloo parathas, served after a moment of confinement, symbolizes maternal care and understanding. The poem encapsulates the emotional complexity of love, both nurturing and occasionally hurtful, and how these experiences linger in the narrator's heart as they return to the demands of work.

Hungry Planet Presentation

Today in class we were all assigned to do a presentation on food cultures among countries we were assigned to. I was assigned to do a presentation about America and specificly food culture in North Carolina. The presentation was about a specific familys food on what they eat in a weak. I was assigned to do the Craig family and the Revi family.

Among analysing both families I found a certain difference between there cusine and our Japanese average meals. The main difference with the Revi family and their food culture with mine is the amount of fast food that is consumed in a week. I would not say all but not many of the people in our culture consume fast food for the whole week. ±Another difference is the variation among the food culture. Since Japan does not have thanksgiving, easter and events where we eat a lot of food. North Carolina was influenced by the Scottish and Irish settlers which lead to the heavy use of potatoes.

Presentation about Recipie

Hello ! today I will be sharing you guys about my recipe presentation and how to make one of the most famous Japanese cusine Sukiyaki. Sukiyaki is a popular Japanese hot pot dish that typically features thinly sliced beef, tofu, vegetables, and other ingredients cooked in a sweet and savory soy-based broth.

I will be sharing you guys a brief history of Sukiyaki!

Sukiyaki has its roots in Japan and is believed to have originated in the late 19th century. Originally, it was known as "gyunabe," and it was made with thinly sliced beef, tofu, and various vegetables. The dish gained popularity during the Meiji era when beef consumption became more widespread. The term "sukiyaki" itself became widely used during the early 20th century. Its popularity grew further after World War II when it became a symbol of social dining, bringing people together around a communal pot. Sukiyaki has evolved over time, with regional variations and adaptations, but its core concept of a hot pot with thinly sliced beef, vegetables, and a sweet soy-based broth has remained a beloved part of Japanese cuisine. Today, sukiyaki is enjoyed both in traditional and modern settings, often with family and friends gathering around the hot pot to share a delicious and communal meal.
